Lesson Twenty-Six
You're sitting on your bright blue towel at the beach, blowing bubbles and watching the waves. Minding your own business. Random thoughts popping in and out of your head like the bubbles floating up, up and away or popping immediately in the hot sun. All of a sudden you hear the most interesting sound. You turn your head mid-bubble and see that every single person on the beach has done the same. And then that sound. Again. Clearer. Closer.
Today's words (Below!) are all examples of onomatopoeia...
words that sound like their meaning when you say them. Whoosh!

crunch

whisper

murmur

crackle

sizzle
